The location of this cottage is incredible, just a short walk away from the charming town center with its boutique shops and eateries. The stunning gardens surrounding the cottage provide a peaceful and private setting. The bedrooms are comfortable and the cottage is well-equipped, making for a convenient stay. Guests can also enjoy the beautiful views of the water from the cottage.
It would be helpful if there were clearer signs warning about the narrow and twisty stairs, as they might pose a challenge for guests with limited mobility.

The decoration of the hotel was simply charming, with little touches of elegance and warmth that made me feel right at home. The common areas were beautifully maintained and had a cozy atmosphere, perfect for relaxing after a long day of exploring. As a senior woman, I appreciated the accessibility of the hotel, with wide hallways and well-lit areas that made it easy for me to navigate. It was a delightful place to spend my vacation.
The only thing I would ask for a better vacation for senior people is a bit more assistance from the children working there. Sometimes, it would have been helpful to have someone available to assist with luggage or provide information about local attractions.

It had everything we needed, from extra bedding to a well-stocked kitchen. the view of the harbor and boats in the morning was a lovely way to wake up. Plus, the location was fantastic for exploring the local area and the entire island.
The main bed was a little small for taller guests, and the narrow staircase may be challenging for those with mobility issues. the lack of blackout blinds and fans in the bedrooms made sleeping a bit difficult, especially in the top room which got quite hot.

What a delightful stay we had over Christmas! The view of the harbor and boats was a wonderful way to wake up every morning. The location was ideal for exploring the local area and the entire island. Plus, the property had everything we needed, from comfortable bedding to an abundance of cutlery and glassware. We felt right at home and would definitely stay here again.
While our overall experience was lovely, there were a couple of minor issues. The mattresses were a bit too soft for our liking, which affected our sleep quality.

My stay at Mulberry Cottage was an absolute delight. The charming cottage, set in a stunning garden, provided a peaceful retreat right in the heart of town. The views of the water over to Portsmouth were simply breathtaking. I fell in love with the beautiful surroundings and couldn't help but admire the original stable block to Claremont House. It was like stepping back in time. The beds were incredibly cozy, and the property had everything I needed, from extra bedding and blankets to a well-equipped kitchen. The garden, with its patio furniture and mesmerizing views of the sea, felt like an extra room, especially during the lovely weather. I even set up a time lapse to capture the stunning sunrise and the bustling ferry traffic. The location of the cottage couldn't have been better, just a few meters away from the vibrant town of Cowes, with its boutique shops and delightful eateries. Exploring the local area and the whole island was a breeze from Mulberry Cottage. I highly recommend this exceptional cottage for a memorable stay on the Isle of Wight.
